The Reducers regret to announce that we’ve had to pull out of the Hygienic Rock Fix next Saturday and that there will be no live shows scheduled for a while. Steve has been laid up with a serious illness and is working hard on recovery. We all look forward to playing out again in 2012 and plan to use the downtime to finish up some recent recordings. We hope to see you all again before too long, but in the meantime send your best wishes in Steve’s direction and keep rocking!

Bad news! The Reducers have to pull out of Saturday night’s bill at the Arch Street Tavern in Hartford. It’s been years and years since our last cancellation, but a bug has pulled Steve out of commission for a little while (get better quick Steve!). Apologies to to the great Arch Street Tavern folks and anyone who was hoping to make it to the show. We’ll reschedule soon, but make it down to Arch Street to see extended sets by The Manchurians and Sidewalk Dave.

The Manchurians and The Reducers go way back- Roger was invited to New London with his then RCR band in ’78 and they’ve been pals ever since- The glory days of The Lit Club included several appearances by these bands and every Hartford show they’ve done together has been fab!! They teamed up to record an ep-”Wake The Neighbors” in the 80′s – This show will have the added cache of Sidewalk Dave AND will be the next edition of Chip McCabe’s terrific television show-”Live & Local” and will air on WCCT TV in January! presented by CT.com.

Come early- music at 9!!! Rumor has the SantaCon coming by as well!! LSG antics!!!!
